#ChristmasTreesOfEdinburgh No 11: Eglinton Crescent. From Little Acorns Do Mighty Oaks Grow (or jumbo Christmas Trees just don’t magically appear). Fittingly, this is the childhood home of author Dorothy Emily Stevenson who began writing at a young age but hid her work because her parents disapproved and refused to send her to university, ‘lest she become a bluestocking’. She went on to sell over seven million copies of her novels 👏

#ChristmasTreesOfEdinburgh No 12: Corstorphine Old Parish Church. It’s a good life being a Christmas Tree - glamour, lights, attention - but you’ve always got to watch out for young pretenders trying to muscle in on the action…

#ChristmasTreesOfEdinburgh No 13: Undisclosed Location ⚠︎ The Unlucky Christmas Tree. Nothing sadder than finding one trapped in a compound, stuck in the middle of a private park. It’s like solitary confinement for Christmas Trees.

#ChristmasTreesOfEdinburgh No 20: Clarendon Crescent. The New Town’s festive arms race just got serious.
