Woman Life Freedom March - 16 September 2023

A year on since the death of Jina Mahsa Amini who died in police custody after being arrested by Iran’s “morality police” for failing to properly cover her hair. Woman Life Freedom Edinburgh organised a screening event & night march to raise awareness about the ongoing uprising in Iran and celebrate a life lost too soon to injustice and discrimination. This event was programmed to coincide with posters being on display around Edinburgh from Artists for Woman Life Freedom in collaboration with Jack Arts. .
